Introduction
If the SmartObject property is of DateTime type and is set as a return and not as an input property an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." may occur.
The local machine has the following items installed:
- K2 blackpearl 0807 4.8210.1.x

The K2 developer performs the following steps within a K2 process designer canvas:
- Open a K2 blackpearl 0807 (4.8210.1.x) environment
- Create a SharePoint SmartObject with a List Folders method.
- Execute the List Folders method in an aspx page.
- The page will not display, instead an Object Reference error will be displayed.

Error Resolution
This Patch is contained within the latest K2 blackpearl 0807 Update. Install the update package to resolve the error.
