Introduction

KB001109 is a list of high priority issues for K2 blackpearl 4.5 and K2 blackpoint 4.5 that have now been resolved.

Issues resolved for K2 Designer for SharePoint:

• Add handle to copy list item to enable the user to either copy or delete the copied item


• "Duplicate step names not allowed" error when trying to edit/delete/copy created list item within current list


• When moving the current document and dropping a delete/update document or metadata/copy document event afterwards, the moved item shows "WFIProcessField" instead of {Current document name} + document.


• Email escalation "To" email address has trailing spaces which causes validation to fail in K2 for Visual Studio


• Wizards General - User Task: Changing the Message format from HTML to Plain Text changes the HTML code / styling also to text.


• Changes on Core assemblies to cater for IPC event.


• People/Group data field's value does not save on the Task form

Additional issues resolved:

• In K2 Workspace in the Management Console the K2 Roles are deleted


• In SharePoint Workflow Integration an “Unknown Error” occurred in design time


• An error occurs when more than 999 folders are created in "C:WINDOWSTempSourceCode.Workflow.Infopath.Temp"


• Hyphen in InfoPath Form Library Name causes “Value does not fall within expected name” when accessing Worklist Item


• Viewflow: After repairing a process instance, all subsequent instances do not show the red error icon when the activity goes into error state


• Process Portals > Instance Management: The GoTo functionality on a process instance in error state does not function


• Process Portals > Security: An Administration error occurred - Log in as different User - Web Page not found


• K2 Events Management results in an access denied error when attempting to open


• Event Wizards > E-Mail Event: Setting the Message Body to HTML and using spacing 1.5 removes the text formatting


• K2 Studio: The Options screen in K2 Studio has been enhanced


• When a wizard is manually repositioned and the user clicks next, the next wizard user page moves off screen


• The Process Instance Summary Web Part returned an error in the Process Portal


• After upgrading from KB001090 the server node in Management Console cannot be expanded


• An error occurred with the Generic Wizards in Microsoft Visual Studio, the message body in a Notification will be cleared, the Message Format is set to Plain text and the message body is edited

Issues resolved for K2 Designer for Visual Studio 2010 for future product support:

• SmartObject Designer > K2 for Visual Studio stops responding when opening an existing SmartObject


• SmartObject Designer > When creating a K2 Empty Project and adding existing SmartObject(s) to the project, the SmartObject Designer does not resize correctly


• Post build action path to Gacutil.exe is invalid on compile.


• Interop - System.NotSupportedException when dragging a K2.net 2003 Event Template from the K2 Toolbox


• Interop - Clicking the Rerun button for a K2.net 2003 event causes an error

Install the latest K2 4.5 update to resolve the above issues.
