This article explains how to remove K2.net™ 2003 functionality from a Microsoft® InfoPath version 1.0 document.

You may at some point be required to remove all references to K2.net™ 2003 from a Microsoft® InfoPath v1.0 document. The following steps will show you how to go about doing this. Once you are done, the InfoPath document will exist in its original format as if it was developed from scratch without any K2.net™ 2003 integration whatsoever.

1.   Open the InfoPath document with Microsoft® InfoPath
2.   Go to the "Design" view (click on View and select Design tasks in the toolbar)
3.   In the Data Source section, delete the _K2 folder and all its contents as illustrated below:

4.   Go to "Tools | Submitting Forms" on the toolbar and click on the "Do not enable submit" radio button as shown below:

5.   Go to "Tools | Form Options" from the toolbar. Click on the "Advanced" tab on the resulting screen and uncheck the "Enable Custom Taskpane" option, as shown below:

6.

Go to "Tools | Script | Microsoft Script Editor". Look for the following code comment:

//----------------------------------------------------------------------
// K2.net Task Pane Modifications
//
//
//----------------------------------------------------------------------

Delete this comment as well as everything else below it. Save the script and close the Script Editor.

7.   Go to "Tools | Resource Manager". In the resource manager window, remove all files relating to K2.net™ 2003:

8.   Close the Resource Manager window and save your document. Your InfoPath document will no longer have any K2.net™ 2003 references.
