Introduction

When attempting to redirect a K2 Worklist item to a user via the K2Rom this resulted in an “Archive Buffer Overflow” error preventing the Worklist item from  reaching the next level in the process.

 

 

Error Scenario
 

Note: The circumstances described in this article are one scenario under which this issue may, or is known to occur. The description is intended to be specific to the scenario described and does not take into account all possible scenarios or circumstances.

To reproduce this error:

  1. Create a simple process in K2.net 2003 Studio
  2. Deploy the process to a K2 blackpearl (with KB000450) Server
  3. Redirect items using the redirect method in K2Rom

Error Resolution

This Hotfix is contained within the latest K2 blackpearl 0807 Update. Install the update package to resolve the error.
