Introduction


KB001169 is a list of high priority issues for K2 blackpearl 4.5 and K2 blackpoint 4.5 that have now been resolved.


 


 


Issues Resolved:


General issues resolved: 



  • When redirecting or releasing an item on the Management Worklist after a "Quick Search" is performed using the "All" column the error "Input string not in correct format" is displayed.

  • An error occurs when the forwarded user’s name containing an apostrophe is removed from Out of Office in K2 Management Console

  • Deploy errors encountered when converting a K2.net 2003 Visual Basic solution to a K2 blackpearl project in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008

  • When migrating from K2.net 2003 to K2 blackpearl 4.5 with running instances and the instance is opened in the K2 Worklist an error occurs stating that the key "Authentication" is invalid.  


SharePoint Integration issues resolved: 




    • In the K2 for SharePoint tab in Central Administration the "SharePoint Group Provider Label" drop-down should only be disabled if the "Add group provider for site collection" is not checked. This was not the case in previous versions of K2. 

    • In K2 Designer for SharePoint the conditions on a destination rule is case sensitive. 

    • When opening the K2 Designer for SharePoint on a Site Page Library, an error occurred stating “Column ‘Title’ does not exist .It may have been deleted by another user…” . 

    • On a distributed environment the SharePoint Configuration Wizard was not responding when the K2 Features completed deployment. The timeout occurred when the Finish button was clicked after the Activate “All K2 Features and K2 Configuration Settings” setting page. 

    • In the SharePoint Events Process Wizard, the XML field is not being populated correctly for a List Item. 

    • When the SharePoint Records Management wizard is run in Advanced mode the information or input fields are only retained when more that one item is added to the wizard. 

    • With SharePoint Workflow Integration an ASP form error occurs owing to managed paths not being implemented correctly. 

    • When an AD Group is contained within a SharePoint Group the AD group does not resolve which results in users not receiving their Worklist items. 

    • When trying to access a list i.e. retrieving a list from K2, where the author of that list no longer exists a “User not found” error occurs.



Performance Enhancements: 



  • When returning a large number of records in a SmartObject Service, using the ServiceSDK BindPropertiesToTable method, performance degrades significantly as the number of records increase. 

  • Memory issues experienced in K2 SharePoint Workflow Integration at runtime, for example, the K2 SharePoint Workflow Integrated Pages took a long time to load.

Install the latest K2 4.5 update to resolve the issues listed above.
