Known Issue: The K2 blackpearl for SharePoint page displays incorrectly in a SharePoint on-premises environment
KB001692
PRODUCT
Issue: If there is a second site collection on a Web Application on a SharePoint on-premises environment, the K2 App will have a dependency on a Root Site Collection. If there is no Root Site Collection or the existing Root Site Collection is deleted the K2 blackpearl for SharePoint page will not display correctly. The K2 blackpearl for SharePoint link can be clicked on from the SharePoint navigation pane and the page will open but the display will be incorrect as shown below:
Note: In an Office 365 environment this issue is not currently experienced as you cannot access a secondary site collection if there is no Root Site Collection. |
Resolution:
- Create a site collection at the root level of the SharePoint web Application.
- Browse to the required site collection and open the K2 for SharePoint App.
