Issue Description
When a SharePoint list or library is integrated with K2, and the SmartForm contains a View which has dependent drop-down lists that retrieve information from a database with a large amount of data, performance issues occur and the browser becomes unresponsive.

Error Message
Internet browser becomes unresponsive.

Cause
Associations were causing data to join unnecessarily when the Create action was executed.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 4.7 installed.
  2. Install the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update.
  3. Get the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update FP5 from Regional Support.
  4. Install the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update FP5 to apply the fix.
