Issue Description
When using the Move or Copy Document wizard to move or copy a non-Microsoft Office type file from one SharePoint Document Library to another, the file will be stored as a default Microsoft document in the destination SharePoint Document Library instead of the original file type from the source SharePoint Document Library. This occurs when using files types such as .png or .zip.

Cause
The content type was not explicitly set on the destination document.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 4.7 installed.
  2. Install the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update.
  3. Get the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update FP8 from Regional Support.
  4. Install the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update FP8 to apply the fix.
