Issue Description

When a SQL SmartObject contains parameters with a custom User Required setting set to “Optional” or “Required”, packaging and deploying the SmartObject results in the setting being removed and the field will be set back to required.

 

 

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 4.7 installed.
  2. Download and Install the K2 4.7 May 2017 Cumulative Update from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Get the K2 4.7 May 2017 Cumulative Update FP5 from Regional Support.
  4. Install the K2 4.7 May 2017 Cumulative Update FP5 to apply the fix.
  5. Ensure that the K2 4.7 May 2017 Cumulative Update FP5 has been installed on Development and Production environments.
  6. Package the SmartObject again using Package and Deployment on the Development environment.
  7. Deploy the SmartObject again using Package and Deployment on the Production environment.
