Issue Description

When you restart the K2 Host Server service, deadlock errors are experienced on Eventbus. But after another restart the deadlock errors are no longer experienced.

Error Message

The following error occurs in the K2 Host Server log file: “"532730032","2018-06-21 21:57:39","Error","EventBus","7498","General","ServerDAL.UpdateLogCustomEventInstanceStatus","7498 An error has occurred: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Transaction (Process ID 87) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.”

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five RTM installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five FP36 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five RTM FP36 to apply the fix.
