Issue Description

When a load view method executes within the same rule as another view method, such as the create method for example, the Dropdown list control values are empty.

Resolution

1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.3) installed.
2. Download the K2 Five (5.3) FP3 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
3. Install the K2 Five (5.3) FP3 to apply the fix.
4. Refresh the browser cache.

Considerations

Note that there is a known issue related to this item. The issue is that when a load view method executes within the same rule as another view method, such as the create method for example, values are empty for controls that do not have bindings to source fields.

There are two workarounds that you can use to get passed this known issue:

1. Configure the Create rule to select and assign no value on the chosen control.
2. Configure the Load rule to select and assign the Source field on the chosen control.
