Issue Description

When you install K2 Five (5.2) May 2019 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 9 on an environment with a database name other than “K2”, the installer fails, and an error is logged in the installer trace log file.

Error Message

The following error is logged: “ExecuteSqlScript.Execute: Logged Error: Script execute failed: System.Exception: Script execution exception: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.ExecutionFailureException: An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Database 'K2' does not exist. Make sure that the name is entered correctly.”

Resolution

1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.2) installed.
2. Download and install the K2 Five (5.2) May 2019 Cumulative Update from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
3. Download the K2 Five (5.2) May 2019 Cumulative Update FP10 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
4. Install the K2 Five (5.2) May 2019 Cumulative Update FP10 to apply the fix.
