When loading or refreshing the K2 Worklist an extended delay for worklist items to be displayed may be experienced.
While using the K2 Worklist a user may experience performance delays. This may occur when the K2 Worklist is loading or when the worklist is being refreshed. The following list of symptoms are associated with this issue.
- SQL Server is very busy when retrieving worklist items
|Note: Activity on the SQL server is more than usual.|
- Worklist takes an extended time to display
|Note: There is no specific error associated with this issue besides the noticable peformance issue.|
This issue has been resolved by implementing performance enhancements to the manner in which the query is passed to the SQL Server to retrieve data to populate the K2 Worklist. The performance enhancements improve the overall performance of the worklist when requesting worklist items from the database. The response time is therefore enhanced.
This Hotfix is contained within the latest K2 blackpearl 0807 Update. Install the update package to resolve the issue.
