Introduction

When a high volume of concurrent users (approximately 10 or more) simultatiously access the K2 Workspace landing page, an 'HTTP Error 500 - Internal server error' (InvalidOperationException - ResourceReader is closed) starts to be thrown for a few random users.

A higher load causes the frequency of this error to rise, and as load continues to increase a second error may appear (ObjectDisposedException - Cannot access a closed resource set).

Error Scenario Steps

Note: The steps below describe one scenario under which this error may occur. The steps below are simplified and not all the steps will be shown or described.
  • Have more than 100 concurrent users open the workspace landing page
  • (The users don't have to have any worklist items)
