When using the Event Instances Report in the Process Overview Report in the Out of Box Reports in K2 Workspace the events reported on are incorrect and reflect the Events of a different activity.

Error Scenario Steps

Note: The steps below describe one scenario under which this error may occur. They are simplified and not all steps are shown or described.
  1. Open K2 Designer for Visual Studio
  2. Create a process with two InfoPath Client Events namely Activity 1 and Activity 2 that are linked.
  3. Action the first event which will go to the next InfoPath Activity.
  4. Open the Event Instance Report in K2 Workspace
  5. View Activity 1 in OOB reporting,
  6. The InfoPath Client Event 1 is listed.
  7. Go back to the activity's screen and open Activity 2
  8. The InfoPath Client Event 1 is listed.
  9. The Name, Start and Finish date are the same in both activities of the event.

Error Messages

The following error messages relate to this issue:
  • No Error messages are displayed. The incorrect activity and data are reflected in the report.

Error Resolution

This Hotfix is contained within the latest K2 blackpearl 0807 Update. Install the update package to resolve the error.
