While running the K2 Environment Utility the application encounters a problem and stops responding while attempting to retrieve the List of InfoPath Documents. No error message is displayed for the user.

Error Scenario

Note: This error has surfaced in environments where there has been extensive InfoPath integration; it is unclear as how extensive the InfoPath integration must be before the error is encountered.

The steps outlined below, describe how the error may be encountered and is the result of duplicate InfoPath Templates in the K2 Databases:

  1. The application is started and the option to peform an Environment Migration is selected.
  2. The wizard runs successfully until it reaches the 8th Page in the wizard, InfoPath And SharePoint: List of InfoPath Documents
  3. At this point, the user controls on the right hand side of the page disable and the application becomes unresponsive. The application can be closed by clicking the Cancel button on the page.
  4. No error message is raised by the utility for the user

Error Resolution

This Hotfix is contained within the latest K2 blackpearl 0807 Update. Install the update package to resolve the error.
