NLB or Network Load Balancing is implemented to extend the capabilities of a distributed installation to handle the increased load on a distributed network. Load balancing involves grouping 2 or more physical machines together in a cluster with similar software components installed on the two machines. Logically, all machines on the network will view the clusters or nodes as the same physical machine.
K2 blackpoint allows for a deployment scenario in which more than one Web server is included in a load-balanced configuration, deploying K2 processes that incorporate out of the box, custom or generated forms to the NLB environment can be a complex process. The attached document will detail the steps required to successfully deploy a K2 blackpoint process including custom and generated forms to an NLB environment.
