When a comparison is performed between string values, an exception is thrown. This Hotfix applies to all instances where a comparison operator (>=, <=, <, >) is used to compare string values, for example in a Line Rule.

- Create a K2 Process
- Configure a Line Rule to compare string values by using one of the following comparison operators >=, <=, <, >
- Plan the process and populate the data fields
- When the comparison is performed, the exception is thrown
“Unable to compare values that is not of the same type.”
This Hotfix is contained within the latest K2 blackpearl 0807 Update. Install the update package to resolve the error.
