When a user tries to open the Workflow Task page from their worklist in SharePoint it takes approximately 10-15 seconds to load the page before it finally redirects the user to the actual task page. Once the user tries to action the task it takes a further 10 seconds to perform the request. Similar poor performance is experienced in the K2 Process Portal. This slow performance has an impact on worklists with a high volume of items.
