Introduction

When actioning K2 Worklist items in SharePoint, the user is redirected to the SharePoint Task List page instead of the Workflow Task page. However, on subsites the user would be redirected to a "Page not Found" instead of the workflow Task page.

Error Scenario

Note: The circumstances described in this article are one scenario under which this issue may, or is known to occur. The description is intended to be specific to the scenario described and does not take into account all possible scenarios or circumstances. 
  1. Create a simple K2 SharePoint workflow process.
  2. Create an activity with a SharePoint Client Event.
  3. Deploy the process.
  4. Start an instance of the process.
  5. Action the user’s worklist item in SharePoint
  6. When clicking on the worklist item page it routes to the SharePoint Task List page            

Error Message

No error message is displayed; however the worklist item opens the SharePoint Task List page or a "Page not Found" instead of the Workflow Task page.

Error Resolution

This Hotfix is contained within the latest K2 blackpoint 0902 Update. Install the update package to resolve the error.
