This known issue only occurs in a SharePoint Library when a K2 workflow is configured to start when uploading a document and the “OK” button is clicked for the workflow to start. The issue is that the metadata is configured on the next page, and therefore does not get configured for the K2 workflow process when it starts.
|Important: This issue is only experienced with K2 for SharePoint.|
The recommended workaround is to add a Start Rule to delay the process by a few seconds. Use the SharePoint Documents event in the first activity of the process to get the metadata from SharePoint and update the K2 process data.
