Introduction
The MessageBus fails to start and an error occurs after an upgrade to K2 blackpearl 4.5 Update KB001390 from an environment that has K2 blackpearl and K2 connect installed.
Error
An error occurs in the event log stating:
“61003 Failed to start MessageBus service: System.Exception: The method or operation is not implemented.
at SourceCode.Security.Providers.ConnectProvider.ConnectProvider.QueryUserProperties()
at SourceCode.Hosting.Runtime.IdentityService.InternalQueryUserProperties(String label)
at SourceCode.MessageBus.Server.MessageBusRuntime.EndWaitForIdentityService(IAsyncResult result)”
Resolution
This Hotfix is available in the latest Update for K2 connect for SAP.
