A task will not be generated for a K2 SharePoint Workflow Integrated Process if that process instance is run on a document within a folder of a SharePoint Document Library or SharePoint List. The link to the task will direct the user to a page that states "SharePoint Task Page Not Available" as the SharePoint Task does not exist.
- In a SharePoint Document Library, create a K2 SharePoint Workflow Integrated Process (to be manually started) with a K2 SharePoint Workflow Integration Client event (a simple approve/reject task is sufficient, but ensure that you select to notify participants)
- Deploy the process
- In the SharePoint Document Library, create a folder, then add a new document to the newly created folder
- Manually start the K2 Process on that document
- An email will be generated with a link to the task. However, when you click on this link, you are directed to a page that states "SharePoint Task Page Not Available".
The user is directed to a page that states "SharePoint Task Page Not Available".
The K2 Server will now check to see if the item is in a folder or not and will generate the workflow task with the relevant information.
This Hotfix is contained within the latest K2 Update. Install the update package to resolve the error.
