Introduction
In the K2 blackpearl 4.6.2 and K2 blackpoint 4.6.2 releases, the Forms Generation Client Event wizard was removed from K2 Studio and K2 for Visual Studio. This change also impacted the ability to generate new ASP.NET pages in SharePoint Workflow Integration process and client event wizards.

For customers using this functionality, existing workflows designed on prior releases that use the event and option will continue to function as designed. These events can be edited, copied and pasted, and the process redeployed, but no new Forms Generation Client Events can be added to the process from the toolbox. However, new installations (for example, a new development machine) will not have this functionality by default.

In order to enable this functionality, you will need to perform some manual steps. This functionality will be re-enabled in the next releases of K2 blackpearl and K2 blackpoint.

Workaround to Enable the wizard and workflow option
 
The steps to enable the Forms Generation Client Event as well as the Generate new ASP.net Pages option in the SharePoint Workflow Integration Wizards are as follows:

1. Locate the configurationmanager.config file at C:ProgramDataSourceCode on the client machine and edit it (for example, using Notepad)
2. Locate the Forms Generation Client Event wizard node under the Wizards section of the configuration file
3. Change the showInToolbox attribute from false to true
4. Save the configuration file and restart K2 Studio or K2 Designer for Visual Studio. The Forms Generation functionality will now be enabled. If you do not see the Forms Generation Client Event in the toolbox, right-click the toolbox and select Reset Toolbox
