Code Fix: Unable to deploy a Workflow containing a Smartobject with a long name

Issue Description

A SmartObject with a name of more than 128 characters in a workflow's E-mail step causes an error on deployment.

Error Message

The following error occurs: “Missing reference at SmartobjectField. Error: the value cannot be more than 128 characters in length”


  1. Ensure you have K2 Five RTM installed.
  2. Get the K2 Five RTM FP16 from Regional Support.
  3. Install the K2 Five RTM FP16 to apply the fix.
  4. It is recommended to refresh the browser cache.
