Code Fix: Unable to edit a workflow when you use Windows Authentication with the HTML5 Designer

Issue Description

When you use Windows Authentication and want to edit a workflow in the HTML5 Designer, an error is presented.

Error Message

The following errors occur:

Error 1

“Server to client action failed. Instruction Processing has been disabled to protect the server state, reload and try again”.

Error 2

“ProcessLocked, {0} [Label]:[Domain][WebServiceAccountName]”.

Cause

The HTML5 designer did not support Windows Authentication.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.1) installed.
  2. Get the K2 Five (5.1) FP7 from Regional Support.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.1) FP7 to apply the fix.
  4. It is recommended to refresh the browser cache.
