Issue Description
When you add or delete a column in a SharePoint Document Library after you upgrade to K2 Five (5.1), an error occurs when you attempt to regenerate the SmartObjects for the SharePoint Library.
Error Message
The error message states: “SmartObject Server Exception: Deserialize error 'SourceCode.SmartObjects.Runtime.SmartObjectDefinitionsPublish' '' 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.’”
Resolution
- Ensure you have K2 Five (5.1) installed.
- Get the K2 Five (5.1) FP9 from Regional Support.
- Install the K2 Five (5.1) FP9 to apply the fix.
- You can now regenerate the SharePoint Library SmartObjects.
