Code Fix: Resolving a SharePoint item reference based on a lookup column, returns incorrect results


Issue Description

When you use an item reference based on a SharePoint list lookup column in a workflow, the incorrect results return at runtime when the item reference resolves. The value returned is “System.String[]” instead of the actual value of the lookup column.


  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.1) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.1) FP27 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.1) FP27 to apply the fix.
  4. Refresh the REST service instance.
