Code Fix: An error occurs when attempting to deploy a workflow in K2 Designer

Issue Description

After upgrading to K2 Five (5.2), an error occurs when you attempt to deploy a workflow in K2 Designer and the workflow contains a SmartObject step.

Error Message

The following error occurs: “Missing reference at SmartObjectField. Error: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'some_key' Key being added: 'some_key'. Stack Location : K2Process Workflow_Name' > Stack End.”

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.2) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.2) FP5 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.2) FP5 to apply the fix.
  4. It is recommended to refresh the browser cache.
