You receive an error when uploading a document to a SharePoint document library that contains one or more required lookup columns. The error only occurs when the Dynamic value Service Instance Key for the SharePoint service instance is true, and the library has one or more required lookup columns.

Error Message

“No item exists. It may have been deleted or renamed by another user.”


To resolve the issue you can either change the Dynamic service instance key value to false, remove the Required setting from the lookup column, or remove the lookup column.
