Issue Description

When you install K2 Five (5.3) Fix Pack 14 on an environment with a database name other than “K2”, the installer fails, and an error is logged in the installer trace log file.

Error Message

The following error is logged: “ExecuteSqlScript.Execute: Logged Error: Script execute failed: System.Exception: Script execution exception: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.ExecutionFailureException: An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Database 'K2' does not exist. Make sure that the name is entered correctly.”

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.3) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.3) FP15 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.3) FP15 to apply the fix.
