SmartActions on workflow instances stops executing and an error is visible in the K2 Host Server log file. This occurs when AutoDiscover is disabled on the environment.
The following error is logged in the K2 Host Server log file: “The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.”.

- Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative Update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
- Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
- Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
After installing the Fix Pack, the error will still be logged in the K2 Host Server log file, but it will not affect this fix.
