Customers are K2’s priority and we constantly strive to deliver quality product innovations, so we are excited to announce the release of K2 connect 4.7.1.

In this release, we've enhanced logging for destinations in K2 connect, to include full RFC traces. Additionally, four bugs were fixed. For a detailed list of fixes and new features, please review the Release Notes: K2 connect 4.7.1 Release Notes (KB000890).

Installation Considerations

From K2 connect 4.6.11 (4.10060.870.0) onwards, the SAP NetWeaver RFC libraries are required. For more details on how install and configure the NetWeaver RFC libraries, see the below steps:

  1. The NetWeaver RFC library must be obtained from http://service.sap.com. Once downloaded, extract the library and copy the DLLs to the appropriate location (for 64-bit machines, C:\Windows\System32 and for 32-bit machines, C:\Windows\SysWOW64).
  2. Install the latest K2 connect for SAP release (4.10060.890.0)
  3. You will need to apply the K2 connect license key, but otherwise everything should work with the new NetWeaver integration.

As always, it is recommended that you install the latest release. To get the latest release and prerequisites, please visit the download pages on the K2 Partner and Customer Portal.

Please use the K2 Partner and Customer Portal to open support tickets and/or contact your local support offices to report any issues. The product documentation for this release is available online at http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/K2Connect/UserGuide/4.7.1
