Sign In

This topic describes how to sign in to K2 Workspace for Android.

Connecting to a K2 Five Environment

To sign in, enter your K2 server address (for example 'k2.denallix.com' or 'https://k2.denallix.com') and tap Next.

Then enter your username or email, depending on how you sign in, and your password, and then tap Sign In. You can use the Eye icon to view your password.

When you sign in to a K2 4.7 or earlier environment using the K2 Workspace for Android app the following message is displayed:

Cannot connect to server. K2 Workspace cannot connect to this server version. Please Install and use K2 Mobile.

Install and use the K2 Mobile for Android app instead.

Connecting to a K2 Cloud Environment

When connecting to a K2 Cloud environment you must enter the K2 server URL and tap Next. You are redirected to the Sign-In page, enter your username and password.

Your username is typically in email format. For example:

Server: https://denallix.onk2.com
Username: bob@denallix.com

Sign In Errors

When you sign in to the K2 Workspace for Android app and error occurs during sign in, you can view logs on the Sign In page and determine what the error is by tapping Open Logs.

On the System Logs page, you can search and filter the logs to determine the error. You can also delete the logs, or send the logs to Support to assist in resolving the issue.

When you sign in to the K2 Workspace for Android app and a connection timeout occurs, the following message displays.

Tap Retry to try the connection once more. When you tap Retry, the request timeout is extended to two minutes and all start up calls are extended to four minutes.
