61012 Exception: The Autodiscover service couldn't be located

The following error appears every 30 seconds in the Windows Eventviewer logs:

"61012 Exception from message source [Smartactions account]: Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.AutodiscoverLocalException: The Autodiscover service couldn't be located."


If you have verified that task notification mails and normal e-mails are working effectively within the K2 Product and that your Exchange is functioning correctly:


You may need to contact K2 Support for further assistance.

Please contact K2 Support for debugging tools to investigate the issue further


The cause of the issue may be the 'MyAnalytics' feature for Office 365. When this feature is activated, automated e-mails are sent to the Smartactions account, and within the K2 Product, we do not cater for these types of e-mails.

If you disable that feature within the Smartactions Office 365 account, the error should disappear.
