Issue

After upgrade from 4.6.11 to 4.7 the SmartForms Email rule will not allow you to use any email address as the from address, this behaviour will be noted on 4.7 but not 4.6.11.

Symptoms

The behaviour will surface in 4.7 but not 4.6.11 as this change was implemented to alleviate certain security risks. With BlackPearl 4.6.11 the emails will send no matter which address is being used as the from address within the SmartForms Email rule. With BlackPearl 4.7 the emails will be sent but these mails will not be received.

Resolution

Please log a support ticket and request the following for BlackPearl 4.7 to resolve the issue.
