Objective

For the same approver in the first activity of the workflow to be used in the next stage of the workflow. Is there a way of K2 recognising that the first activity is being used in the next stage ? You will need to create two lines going out of the first approval step and add a line rule on the line going into the second approval (i.e. 1st Destination userName <> 2nd destination userName) So if the user is different the approval is required otherwise the process will continue through the other line. If the approval is more than two here then it will be best to reach out to the services team as the workaround for this may be a bit longer here

Before You Begin

You will need to have K2 studio open with a process containing to activities with default client events.

How-to Steps

You will need to create two lines going out of the first approval step and add a line rule on the line going into the second approval (i.e. 1st Destination userName <> 2nd destination userName) So if the user is different the approval is required otherwise the process will continue through the other line. If the approval is more than a two step approval process then it will be best to reach out to the services team here.
