Issue

After changing the name of a site collection in SharePoint, all users are getting Access Denied errors when attempting to access the Appit application.

Symptoms

Users are getting the error: Access Denied To design K2 applications you must be a member of a group that has K2 designer permissions.

Resolution

Go into the site collection that was renamed, go into the K2 Appit Application, and select Activate Site Collection. Afterwards, rerun the K2-Related Groups Synchronization. This should resolve the issue.
