Unable to deploy K2 Sharepoint App in production - activation does not give any errors, only a red exclamation mark

Site Collections are not being activated in the App Catalog, only a red exclamation mark is displayed but no error message.



This issue was discovered in the HostServerlog. It appears that a duplicate Group Provider is present although no error appeared in the ULS logs or in F12 Traces.

Troubleshooting Steps

- Remove the Group Provider and change the title of the Site Collection.

- Rerun the registration wizard.

- Re-add the Site Collection to the Manage App deployments and reactivate the Site Collection.

- The List and Libraries will activate as expected.
