Hyperlinks do not work in IE 11 on a view that was previously hidden and disabled

This article was created in response to a support issue logged with K2. The content may include typographical errors and may be revised at any time without notice. This article is not considered official documentation for K2 software and is provided "as is" with no warranties.

It is not possible to open Hyperlinks in K2 Smartforms with Internet Explorer 11, but it works fine with Firefox/Chrome.

You have a form that contains a view, and this view has a hyperlink control. If you hide AND disable the view, the next time this view is shown the hyperlink does not work. The only way to open the URL is via right-click and selecting "Open in new tab".

After an investigation, it was found that disabling the view causes the hyperlink to stop working.

Please log a support ticket and request the fix. This issue will be fixed in future versions of the K2 product and or distributed through cumulative updates / fix-packs.

If you are hiding the view there is no need to disable it, as it will be un-editable. Only hide the view without disabling it.
