Issue

Failure to receive email notifications after moving to Exchange Online.

Symptoms

The following error is revealed upon running the K2 Blackpearl Configuration Analysis.

 

"Could not query for ManagementRoleAssignment from the exchange server with user '<user's email>'. Ensure the user is part of the Organization Management group. This task cannot be repaired until the blocking error has been resolved."

Troubleshooting Steps

Grant the K2 service account Recipient Management rights for Exchange to be able to create and disable mailboxes and browse Exchange servers and mailbox databases.
