Issue

After performing a re-configuration of K2 Blackpearl, the K2 web parts on your SharePoint site returns an error.

Symptoms

The following error is presented on the Web Part:

Claim mapping configuration cannot be found for this claim. Claim information: Name='0#.w|******administrator', Issuer='SharePoint', Original Issuer='SharePoint'. Please ensure that you have configured the K2 server as specified in K2 Help: Installation and Configuration > Configuration > SharePoint > Claims-based Authentication."

Troubleshooting Steps

The error indicates that the SharePoint issuer is not mapped to a K2 security label in the [K2].[Identity].[ClaimTypeMapping] table.

This has been identified to be a known issue where re-configuring K2 Blackpearl causes all IssuerID values in the [K2].[Identity].[ClaimTypeMapping] table to point to the Windows STS issuer.

To rectify this, direct database modification will be required. Please log a K2 Support Ticket on the K2 Customer Portal for further assistance.

Do not modify any database definition or database content unless specifically instructed to do so by K2.
