When deploying SmartForms objects on the target server after upgrading from 4.6.11 to 4.7, the following error is presented:

"Insufficient license type. Server does not have a SmartForms Designer License."

The error is expected for a K2 SmartForms Runtime license. You may verify the license type from K2 Management > Licenses.

Troubleshooting Steps

You will need a K2 SmartForms Server License instead. Please submit a request for a new license key from our Portal

After receiving the license key, you may either update the SmartForms license through the Setup Manager or from the Management site. A K2 Blackpearl service restart is required after.

Please refer to our documentation for more information on Licenses.
