[K2 Connect] Installing K2 Service Object Designer displays a "Required product not found" error

Issue

When installing K2 Service Object Designer, K2 Connect installer displays the following error:

Symptoms

  • K2 core is already installed.
  • K2 blackpearl for Visual Studio component is already installed, and verified.

Troubleshooting Steps

To resolve this issue please do the following:
  1. Run the K2 blackpearl installer.
  2. Select the Modify option.
  3. Select the K2 Studio component. 
  4. Go through the rest of the wizard to install K2 Studio. 
  5. Run the K2 Connect installer, and install the K2 Service Object Designer again.
