Issue
Workflow with Reference Event works fine when starting manually but fails when started via workflow schedule.
The following error appears:
"An Error occurred while parsing EntityName"
This issue occurs mainly when you have a Choice SharePoint column with a Ampersand in the name and you then create a reference off that in the workflow.
Symptoms
The Workflow fails to start from workflow schedules and fails with the error:
"An Error occurred while parsing EntityName."
Resolution
This is a product bug and has been documented
Workarounds:
1. Rename the column and remove the ampersand.
2. Create a new Workflow and use a call sub workflow event to call the actual workflow that needs to be started and add the new workflow to the schedules.
