Issue

You are unable to upload a large file to the file attachment control.

Symptoms

The File Attachment is failing when trying to attach a file over 30 MB. If the file size lower then it's fine.
 

The file could not be uploaded. The network might be down or web server is unreachable. Contact your administrator.

Troubleshooting Steps

To allow 'Maximum allowed content length' to be large enough to accept larger files, you can do the following:

1. Open the IIS and expand Sites > K2 > Runtime.
2. On this page under IIS, click 'Request Filtering'.
3. Next, right-click the page and select 'Edit Feature Settings...'.
4. Change 'Maximum allowed content length' to the desired maximum size.
