K2 LDAP users unable to login on K2 mobile application

K2 LDAP users are unable to login from the K2 mobile and K2 Workspace apps. The error below appears after entering the username and password.
Symptoms
The user was unable to login with ldap:{username} on a mobile device, even though this K2 LDAP user could log in with 'ldap:{username}' or only '{username}' in the K2 workspace on PC.
Troubleshooting Steps
After changing the username in the app from ldap:{username} to LDAP:{username}, the issue is resolved, so it seems as if the label is case sensitive.
