Issue

After upgrading to K2 5.3, K2 Studio displays the error below whenever deploying two or more workflows within one project.

The Deployment Task Resource 'zip_a92d892e26274d6d9a78f4214385438f' already exists on the Deployment Task.

Symptoms

This happens when a workflow in K2 Project was copied and added to the same project.

The following scenario applies:

  • Select "add existing item."
  • Navigate to the K2 Project workflow and create a copy of ‘User Profile’. Rename it to ‘User Profile B.’
  • Add the copy.
  • When you deploy the same error appears.

Troubleshooting Steps

Workaround 1
Deploy one process at a time (exclude the copied workflow from the project and then deploy the rest). You will need to deploy each process individually.

Workaround 2
If you know which process gives the error when including the project, you can resolve that issue by creating a new process with the same name, and then copying all activities and creating data fields.
