Issue Description

After upgrading from K2 4.6.11 to K2 4.7, a solution containing complex nested expressions cannot be packaged via K2 Package and Deployment. Errors occur during the packaging process with no indication on the actual form as to what needs fixing.

Error Message

The error status in K2 Package and Deployment shows on the form with the message: “Error: Item contains errors that will cause deployment failures”. This message does not give an indication on what needs to be fixed on the form to successfully package the solution.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 4.7 installed.
  2. Download and Install the K2 4.7 November 2017 Cumulative Update from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Get the K2 4.7 November 2017 Cumulative Update FP13 from Regional Support.
  4. Install the K2 4.7 November 2017 Cumulative Update FP13 to apply the fix.
