When a SharePoint list or library is integrated with K2, and the SmartForm contains a View which has dependent drop-down lists that retrieve information from a database with a large amount of data, performance issues occur and the browser becomes unresponsive.
Internet browser becomes unresponsive.
Associations were causing data to join unnecessarily when the Create action was executed.
- Ensure you have K2 4.7 installed.
- Install the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update.
- Get the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update FP5 from Regional Support.
- Install the K2 4.7 February 2017 Cumulative Update FP5 to apply the fix.
